Fair Dinkum – Privacy policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Summary

Fair Dinkum does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on the device you use it on.

What the app stores

To organise sessions, the app stores the information you type in: player names, groups, scheduled sessions, court names, settings and match scores. This is kept only on your device, either:

The app has no server, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send any of your information to the developer or to anyone else.

Who is responsible for the data

Because the data never leaves your device, you (or the club or group you organise play for) are responsible for it. If you record other people's names, let them know they are being recorded to organise play and scores, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Removing your data

You can delete individual players, groups or everything from within the app (Players & groups). If you chose a folder, you can also delete players.json and the Backups folder. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser's site data removes anything held in app or browser storage.

Hosting

The app's files are hosted on GitHub Pages. When the app is loaded, GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address, as it does for any website; see GitHub's privacy statement. None of the information you enter into the app is sent to GitHub.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be raised on the app's GitHub issues page.
